Mixed Fours Final 2019

The final of the MBC Mixed Fours was contested today in perfect weather conditions seeing Sue Fernance, Kim Henshaw, John Leard & Mick Dempsey dominate proceedings early over their opposition Hilary Jenkins, Rose Allars, Trevor Jenkins and John Mitchell leading 13 - 4 on 10 ends. Team Mitchell clawed their way back into the game to trail 15 - 13 on 16 ends.
Team Dempsey regrouped to lead 19 - 14 going into the last end before dropping a 5 on the final end to lock scores at 19 all. The extra end saw great bowls and eventually Sue, Kim, John & Mick were crowned 2019 champions holding one shot in another great game of bowls at MBC.
