Road Trip to Tea Gardens

Merewether Magik's Rose Allars, Hilary Jenkins, Lesley Afflick & Colleen Chaffey travelled to Tea Gardens to contest the first game of the second round of Women's Weekend Pennant League this morning.

In beautiful weather Tea Gardens led 4 Nil early before the Magik squaring, proceeding at 4 all.  At the half way mark Tea Gardens led 13/6 then dominating the latter stages of the game to run out deserved winners 21/10. Although the score line probably didn't reflect the closeness of the majority of ends played. "That's Bowls"

All the Magik ladies preformed admirably and thoroughly enjoyed the fellowship, hospitality and facilities provided by the host club. 
Merewether's next game is at home v Soldiers Point Chicks on Sat 24th August.
