Nail biting finish to Women’s Pennants Season

With a bye scheduled for Thursday, today was our last chance to improve our overall result. Heading in we were running second in our season behind Tea Gardens.
It was neck & neck up to the 13th end & with Team Red winning 6 of the last 8 ends we were able to hold Lowlands off.
Team White finished with a loss on 16-26 with 3 ends remaining on the other rink. It was 39-39 with teams trading shots several times in these 3 ends. Merewether won 2 of these ends and ended up winning 43-40 overall.
It was a great way to wrap up our Pennants season.
