Womens Consistency Final 2021

Wonderful weather heralded the Women’s Consistency Final between Oona Sullivan and Kath Cornish on Sunday. This weather was only the beginning of one of the best Club Championship finals for 2021.

On 5 occasions throughout the game of 29 ends Oona & Kath were on drawn scores, with the ends in between becoming a jostle for the lead, as the scores seesawed between both players.

It was not until end 22/29 that Kath commenced her sprint for the finish, closely followed by Oona who continued to place 2 & 3 bowls close to the kitty only to have these displaced by Kath.The final score was 150 to 135 and valiant performances by both players.

Well done to Oona Sullivan as Runner Up for 2021 and Congratulations to Kath Cornish the 2021 Consistency Winner.
