Today, history was made! For the first time in many, many years, the Women’s Minor Singles Championship was played at Merewether and wasn’t it grand! Winner, Kathryn Cornish defeated Merewether’s new-comer Lesley Afflick, in style! Whilst the game saw challenging wind changes and tough conditions, the Merewether Women’s Bowling Members certainly made the players feel supported!
